Sad case for today..


We received our third quiz back..
My marks was horrible..14/30.. Failed!!
This feeling is sucks!!


Under the Topic of The Cycle Rule..
z = f (x, y)
dz = (dz/dx)y dx +(dz/dy) dy

Let dz = 0,
Then, whole equation divided by dy.
0 = (dz/dx)y (dx/dy)z + (dz/dy)x (dy/dy)

Equation multiply by (dy/dz)
0 =  (dz/dx)y (dx/dy)z (dy/dz)x + 1

Hence,  (dz/dx)y (dx/dy)z (dy/dz)x = -1

Then, lecturer teach us abt Maxwell Relation..

For equation dH = T dS + V dP

H = f (s,p)
dH = (dH/dS)p dS + (dH/dP)s dP


dH = M dS + N dP


dM/dP = dN/dS  ==> Maxwell relation
d^2 H/dPdS = d^2 H/ dSdP      ----(1)
d/dP (dH/dS) = d/dS (dH/dP)
(dM/dP)s = (dN/dS)p                        ----(2)

If (1) and (2) are equal, therefore H is a state function.. 

Nt difficult.. Jz that tired look at delta...changing here and there..
